By all accounts this year’s Downed Biker Relief Rally was a success. There was good fellowship and reconnections made and everybody had a good time for a good cause. Speaking of that, we were already able to bless a young couple that had a very serious accident. We visited with the couple at the hospital along with some members of the band that led us in worship earlier in the day.
Some members of the motorcycle community in the surrounding area gratiously supported the event and we are very grateful to them for doing so and hope to see them again soon.
Some pictures have been posted in the media section of the site with more to come.
The Downed Biker Relief Rally begins next Friday. Don’t miss out. It’s always a great time and good fellowship and we look forward to seeing you there. Friday the temperature is forecasted to be 84 degrees and Saturday will be 82 degrees with no rain in sight. Also there are still sponsorship opportunities available. We’d love to talk over some options with you as we have with these 2 most recent sponsors. Visit these sites for some great deals.

This year’s DBRR (formerly Jericho Ride) is fast approaching. Friday evening will be a great time to catch up with some BFC folks you might not get to see very often. Saturday we’re having a ride through Central Virginia near Lake Anna along with other events, games, music and of course food. Sunday we will have kickstand chapel at Richmond Harley-Davidson. So, don’t miss out. It’s always a great time and good fellowship and we look forward to seeing you there.
It’s been cold, we’ve had some snow and the days are short. Additionally, there are fewer opportunities to be outside and at events. However, this is a great time in your walk. There are fewer distractions. There are more opportunities for contemplation. And, it’s a great time to re-charge, re-new and re-energize. Spring is coming and many things will start to fight for your attention. Now, before that happens, re-commit and re-focus on who you are in Christ. The warm weather is coming and we want to hit the ground running, so check your fluid levels and tire pressures and let’s make it happen. If you don’t do it – it won’t get done!
We hope you had a great Christmas and were able to put all the world’s “issues” to the side at least for a time and focus on what Christmas really means.
The new year is right around the corner and we want to start it off on the right foot. Join us at the Golden Corral on Conduit Road in Colonial Heights at 9am and then we’ll ride to the different local courthouse buildings and have a short prayer for those God has put in a position of authority. The weather is supposed to cooperate and it looks to be a great way to start the new year. We hope to see you there!
We met up with some friends at Colonial Harley in Prince George in support of a family that is suffering through some hard times with medical issues. The temperature was in the mid-50’s, and there was a fairly good turn-out. We rode the 5 and Dime route (dime 1st). It really wasn’t too cold except for the fairy ride. . . The wind really picked up around Surry and it was a chilly ride across the James. It was all for a good cause and we would gladly do it again.
Next Saturday is the Creatures Grimm M/C 3rd Annual Toys for Tots Benefit poker run that starts at the Toys “R” Us store, 11861 W. Broad Street, Richmond, Va 23233. Registration is at 11:00am. First bike goes out by 12:00pm. Registration fee is $10.00 or a new, unwrapped toy. Christmas is right around the corner and CGMC are some pretty cool guys, so come on out and spread some love!
